Our astronomy activities in schools across Cyprus have started!
On the 10th and 11th of May 2017 we visited the first two schools of our project, one from the Greek Cypriot and one from the Turkish Cypriot communities of Cyprus. We carried out fun astronomy activities about the Solar system and the Sun itself, carrying out solar observations and building a model to understand cosmic scales. We are looking forward to this Saturday when the children from both communities will meet each other for the first time at the Home for Cooperation, for more fun astronomy activities and to get to know each other!
